Microbe Bioreactor Initial System Setup
Step 1 – Tank Preparation
· Use a flat-bottom tank (e.g. IBC Tote, Drum)
· Ensure the tank is clean and free of debris. If previously used, pressure wash and rinse thoroughly.
· Place the tank on a level surface to prevent slope alteration over time.
· Insert the Bioreactor into the tank, ensuring proper placement of the float valve and positioning of air stones and recirculation pump at the tank’s bottom.
· Adjust the float valve according to the desired water volume.
· Securely screw on the tank cap.
Step 2 – Water Connection
· Connect your fresh water source to the garden hose on the Bioreactor Kit.
· Do not activate aeration or pump until the tank is full.
· Close the bottom drain valve.
Step 3 – Tank Filling
Turn on the water until it reaches the fill line on the bioreactor.
Allow the tank to sit for approximately 1 hour to saturate aeration stones.
Step 4 – Pump Setup
Plug in the circulation pump to the solar panel or power outlet (you will see water moving in the tank).
Connect the Aeration pump to the solar panel or power outlet (do not put this pump inside the tote).
Step 5 – Initial Treatment
Add the Living Water starter powder to the tank.
Allow approximately 12 hours for inoculation process.
Step 6 – Dosing Pump Installation
Attach the inline dosing pump to the tank’s bottom valve (not included).
Set desired flow rate and ensure water level is maintained via float valve.

Step 7 – Irrigation System Connection
Connect dosing pump to irrigation system.
Install a backflow preventer if system is high pressure.
Step 8 – Monitoring and Maintenance
Cover tank to protect from sunlight, extreme temperatures.
Periodically check tank to ensure water output matches intended area.
Adjust injection pump as needed.
Monthly, add Living Water mixture to tank. Contact us for alternate mixes or seasonal adjustments.
